PMD Team Smash Charity Target for Rays of Sunshine

On Friday 29th to Saturday 30th July 2011 we set out to complete a 24 hour bikeathon with the aim to raise £1,500 for Rays of Sunshine. We successfully completed this and currently have smashed our target and raised £1,807!

The Playground Markings Direct team were recently putting up some fencing for a Primary school when we saw a stray dog watching us. His little eyes were watching us as if to say, “Thanks a lot now I can’t get in to the playground and play on the slides!”

Kids play rough in a playground whether it is playing British Bulldogs or pushing each other around there is often a risk of children getting hurt. However, playground equipment should not add to this risk.

Thermoplastic marking being applied

This is a short video of a thermoplastic marking being applied to a school playground surface filmed on a phone while on site. This lime green thermoplastic marking is being “burned” onto the surface, ensuring a longer life span of around 3 years.
