CHAS

Each month thousands of contractors and consultants (suppliers) apply for work with public and private sector organisations (buyers). To win work, they must meet the buyer’s health and safety standards.

Assessing suppliers health and safety competence is usually a lengthy and time consuming process. Suppliers can sometimes meet one buyer’s Health and Safety standards but not another. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers.

CHAS assesses applicants:

– Health and safety policy statement;
– Their organisation for health and safety;
– Their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to our buyers and to others.

ROSPA

ROSPA are a registered charity and have been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world for more than 90 years. More than 13,500 people die as a result of accidents across the UK each year. There are millions of other injuries. Accidents cause loss and suffering to the victims and their loved ones, employers and UK society as a whole. We promote safety and the prevention of accidents at work, at leisure, on the road, in the home and through safety education.

Since it started, they have become increasingly involved in cycling related training, bringing cycling to disabled people, encouraging people with poor health to take up cycling and working with excluded communities to help them make cycling part of their lives.

Rays of Sunshine

Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity exists to grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses between the ages of 3 and 18 in the United Kingdom.

4 sports challenge

Our goal is to make the 4Sports Challenge the vehicle to increase both Inter and Intra school participation levels throughout the UK by making personal development and sport fun and rewarding for all. We are doing this by giving children a programme based on four fun challenges and offering them a system that encourages and rewards good effort and progress in those challenges. The programme has proven to be a great system which encourages positive play during break and lunch times.
