A tree house or even a den
play hide and seek or just hide your eyes and count to ten,
A little tea party is always good fun
A small bit of shade to hide us from the sun.

We are pirates looking for treasure on the open sea
or just a hide out in the jungle where no-one can see me,
A King or Queen in a castle for the day
It certainly encourages us to role play.

It brings all of us boys and girls to play together
It dosn’t matter whatever the weather,
We gather all our idea’s and thoughts
we always come up with all sorts.

A space ship or a rocket to take us to the moon
As the teacher lets us know lunch will be ready soon,
Super hero’s saving the day
This creates a whole new world of play.

Whether this is the start or finish of our running race
All our favourite characters visit this exciting place,
It is great to experience all of these new and different things
Especially seeing all the joy that it brings.

This is a great place to sit and have some quite time
Until you are ready to play again and everything has turned out fine,
Or somewhere to sit and nurse a grazed knee
This is the place you would want to be.

So when we are tired and all played out
this is where we would want to rest without a doubt,
All sitting down to Jackonaury
As our Teacher gets us settled for an adventure story.

YES this is definately a great place to rest
This is why we know play huts are just the BEST !

I was amazed when I was in the park and saw my little one happily chatting and playing with kids she’d never met before – something she rarely does in other situations. There’s something magical about playhuts that brings kids together

It’s my den
For me and Tom and Ben.
We can hide and not get caught,
Sail the seas and defend the fort,
Fly to the moon and take a look
Or sit quietly with Miss Ring and a book;
Eat our lunch
Play in a bunch;
Hide from the rain
Pretend we’re on a train.
Please, please, please give us a den!
See us smile and smile again.
And again and again and again-
That’s why we’d love a den.
Each day it’s something new.
Each day we’d think of you!
